Wayne Metals a Diamond Supplier Again

Wayne Metals LLC once again received the “Diamond Supplier Award” by International Truck and Engine.  This is the third consecutive year Wayne Metals has received this award.  Out of over 1800 suppliers to ITEC, only 32 suppliers achieved this honor.  The prize was presented to Greg Myers, Wayne Metals LLC President, and Rollyn Coverdale, V.P. Engineering, at a ceremony in Chicago on February 1, 2006, by Yi Wang, ITEC’s Supply Manager.

According to Tom Akers, ITEC Vice President of Purchasing, “Diamond suppliers meet and exceed International’s performance expectations for quality, delivery, and cost.  They are committed to continuous improvement and are strategically aligned with International’s business goals”.

Greg and Rollyn accepted the accolade on behalf of all of the 250 Wayne Metals LLC employees that worked to reach these goals in quality, delivery, and cost.  “It is a privilege to have received this award each year since its inception.  We cherish the relationship between our company and International, and hope we can continue to merit their trust and business in the future”, Greg added.
